A stylized recreation of Fjell’s “Pilgrim” concept art, brought to life entirely in Blender using Grease Pencil, Eevee lighting, and simple sculpted forms for depth.

The goal was to capture the charm and atmosphere of the original piece, balancing 2D linework with 3D elements for a painterly, storybook look.
The project was part of a personal experiment where I recreated the same scene at three different time investments: 1 minute, 1 hour, and 1 day to explore how time and iteration affect storytelling and polish.
This version represents the final 24-hour render, combining hand-drawn detail, custom shaders, subtle animation, and layered lighting to bring the tiny adventurer’s world to life.
The YouTube video where I provide a breakdown is also attached if you would like to see my process. Enjoy!
